Romans 4:12-14

¹² and that he be the Father of circumcision, not only to those who are of the circumcision, but also to those who walk in the steps of the faith our Father Abraham had when he was uncircumcised.

¹³ For the promise that he should be the heir of the world was not given to Abraham, or to his seed, through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith.

¹⁴ For if those who are of the Law are heirs, then faith is made void, and the promise is made to no effect.
